Black Walnut & Epoxy Dining Table

One of the finest slabs I've worked with.

Crotch grain black walnut with heavy curl. I saw the potential the moment I pulled it from the stack. I filled the natural voids with black epoxy to deepen the contrast and let the figure take center stage. The wishbone legs were designed to support without distraction.

I built this to let the grain lead.
